Perth Tram 66 At Bennett Brook Railway's Ashley & Friends Day

Sunday the 26th of May was our neighbour's the Bennett Brook Railway, Ashley & Friends Day. This year Perth tram E class 66 made an appearance to carry passengers around Whiteman Park on the special day.

Also this year, all tickets purchased for the Ashley & Friends Day included a tram ride which saw large amounts of passengers board 66 for a ride. On most trips every seat was taken and there were some standees on a few occasions. For those that didn't have tickets to the Ashley & Friends Day, fares for the tram were lowered to only a donation.

By far the most busiest tram stop for the day was the Village Junction Station, which was at the heart of the festivities of the day. Our Mussel Pool tram stop which is usually our quietest stop was also busy, with the tram stop only being a short distance from the Mussel Pool railway station.
